Although there is constant debate between Cubs and Cards fans, there is a place for all in our nursery!

Children’s Ministries comes alongside parents in the journey of children coming to faith in God and growing in Him. The program is closely tied  with Family Life at MAFMC.

Nursery
The nursery is available for infants up to age 3 during Sunday School and Worship. Parents are asked to sign their child in and leave their cell phone on vibrate so they can be contacted if needed.

Sunday School
9:30 am
Children from age 3 through 5th grade are welcomed to age-appropriate Sunday School classes. The focus is on learning stories from the Bible and relating those to our everyday lives. Families are supplied with a booklet of family worship ideas that correspond to the Sunday School lessons.

Creative activities make learning fun!

Children’s Church
Children from kindergarten to 3rd grade are dismissed to Children’s Church just before the sermon. The Children’s Church lessons follow the church liturgical calendar, presented in a way that stimulates wonder and curiosity.

Kinderchurch
Young children are welcome to transition from the nursery to Kinderchurch at age 3, as they are ready. Kinderchurch children (age 3-5) enjoy Bible stories, singing, crafts, snacks, and play time during the entire worship service.

Christian Life Club (CLC)
For children K to 5th Grade
Wednesdays  at 7:00 pm during the school year

Each month has a different theme for CLC, a badge program for elementary children. The CLCers learn Bible verses and do activities that help them learn more about following Jesus and living for Him. Themes include:  Friendship, Personal Worth, Spiritual Growth, Knowing the Bible, Family, Service, Missions, Health, and Creation. Crafts and recreation are also part of the CLC program.
